Service
ProofCrest provides blockchain-based document verification services. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to register documents you submit
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials
- You must not use ProofCrest for fraudulent document verification
- You must comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
Blockchain immutability
Document hashes registered on the Polygon blockchain are permanent and cannot be deleted. While documents can be marked as revoked or superseded within ProofCrest, the original blockchain record persists. Consider this before registering.
Plans & billing
- Free tier includes 5 document registrations per month
- Paid plans are billed monthly through Razorpay
- You can cancel anytime — access continues until the billing period ends
- No refunds for partial months
Verification accuracy
ProofCrest verifies that a document's hash matches a registered record. This confirms the document is identical to the registered version, but does not verify the truthfulness of the document's contents.
Liability
ProofCrest is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain network issues, smart contract bugs, or reliance on verification results. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 3 months.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Blockchain records persist after termination.
